Why, you ask, would an immigration attorney who has gotten a USCIS petition approval send their client to ANOTHER immigration attorney? Because prudent immigration practitioners understand that visa processing is a very unpredictable undertaking, and that there is no substitute for visa processing experience. By involving Mr. Latour, the immigration attorney is not only insuring that the client is fully prepared before they get on the plane, but they are also protecting themselves by insuring a competent visa expert has evaluated the visa interview documentation.

USVisaPrep.NET™ works like this...

1- After reviewing the details of the USVisaPrep.NET™ service offering, click on "Create an Account" on the USVisaPrep.NET™ homepage, and then create your private password log in.

2- Once logged in, a new menu will appear listing "Begin Your USVisaPrep.NET Intake Questionnaire." You will then answer a series of questions about your particular visa case and explore issues which determine whether or not a visa stamp can be placed in your passport. The questions examine both the fundamental eligibility for the visa stamp (just because the USCIS issued an approval doesn't mean a visa officer won't catch eligibility deficiencies) AND examine factors which may preclude the issuance of the visa based upon an individual applicant's particular background and circumstances. ^{[SEE NOTE 1 BELOW]}

3- Upon completion of the USVisaPrep.NET™ Intake Questionnaire, your information and responses are saved on our secure server. You then proceed to PayPal, where you choose between one of three USVisaPrep.NET™ Service Options:

• Evaluation Option #1 Standard 7 Day costs $275, offering a one week turnaround
• Evaluation Option #2 Expedited 5 Day costs $400, offering a 5 day turnaround.
• Evaluation Option #3 OVERNIGHT costs $600 and offers a 24 Hour turnaround *This option is only available for clients who have contacted us to confirm overnight processing availability.
  

IMPORTANT NOTE: Processing times for all services are measured from the time of final document receipt by our office via fax or email.

4. After payment is made via PayPal , you will immediately receive an email confirmation providing you with a direct email address and U.S. fax number. You then email or fax the documentation you will be presenting at the visa interview, and the clock starts ticking when we've recieved the last of your documents. ^{[SEE NOTE 3 BELOW]}

5. Whether you send the documents via fax or via email, Mr. Latour is electronically notified and able to access the documents as well as the questionnaire you had previously completed. He then reviews the documents, considers your responses, and issues a written opinion via fax or email indicating his legal assessment of the visa application, noting possible deficiencies or bases for denial.

NOTE 1: the written evaluation Mr. Latour will produce presumes complete candor and disclosure by the client; concealing prior arrests, overstays, unauthorized employment, etc., may result in a favorable opinion from Mr. Latour, followed by a visa denial by the consular officer!

NOTE 2: PLEASE NOTE: YOUR PRE-INTERVIEW QUESTIONNAIRE RESULTS WILL REMAIN ON OUR SECURE SERVER FOR 14 DAYS; IF YOU HAVE NOT GONE TO PAYPAL TO INITIATE EVALUATION SERVICES BY THE 14TH DAY, YOUR RESULTS WILL BE PURGED AUTOMATICALLY FROM OUR SERVER FOR YOUR SECURITY.

NOTE 3: There is a 100 page limit on the documentation we will review; if you send more than 100 pages, before we commence you will be advised of what additional fee will be assessed for the additional review time by Mr. Latour. In most cases, we find that clients can be selective and that the 100 page limit is not an issue; if it is, look for "filling" which isn't necessary (e.g., standard contractual clauses which make up the bulk of a lease agreement when all the material information is on the first and last few pages.)
